I always imagined this would be the most difficult portion of a blog to write, since I am supposed to hope that I can encompass a decent description of myself and my purpose here in just a couple short paragraphs, while also catching your attention.  In hopes that I’ll be able to clear away some cobwebs right from the start, I suppose I’ll start with a list of important tidbits about me:

  • I am a born-again Christian and a believer in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and have experienced His influence more times than I can count in my life
  • I am an experiencer and open believer in the paranormal, supernatural, extraterrestrial, and things simply beyond our current understanding
  • I love researching futurology and fringe science to find out what new amazing bits we’ve discovered about our vastly unknown universe
  • I study and practice general urban survival and bushcraft skills, trying to be prepared in case things somehow don’t go so well in the future
  • In general I strive to be the most open-minded and loving Christian I can be, never closing my eyes or mind to the mysteries of creation that we still can’t possibly understand.  I want to learn as much as I can in my time here on earth, and I can’t do that with my eyes or mind closed, right?
  • I may have some strong opinions to share, but overall my goal is to share them objectively, and not belittle, degrade, or dismiss ideas that don’t align with mine.  If we disagree on something, let’s agree that it’s okay, and accept each other for exactly what we are: flawed and imperfect beings, each just trying to figure things out.
So that’s the basic rundown, hopefully it gives you a clear idea of what to expect here.  I really just want this to be a place where I can pour out my thoughts, and learn as much as possible from any of you who wish to share.  There is so much still to learn, and not enough time to waste it bickering.  I love you all, and can’t want to get this thing rolling!
